Darren Day signs up for Celebrity Big Brother?

Darren Day has signed up for 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

The 47-year-old star - who has 11-year-old son Corey with former Hear'Say singer Suzanne Shaw - has reportedly been snapped up by TV bosses who are hoping he will spill the beans on his numerous famous conquests during his time in the reality show house.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Darren's telly dynamite and producers think that viewers will love to hate him.

"But no one will hate him as much as all the women he used during his days as a love rat.

"There's going to be a lot of people out there very worried about what secrets he reveals during his time on the show."

Darren - who previously battled a £2000-a-week cocaine addiction - famously cheated on a number of his celebrity girlfriends.

The West End actor dated 'Pushing Daisies' actress Anna Friel from 1994 to 1997 and even proposed to her.

However, just two weeks after calling time on their relationship, he began seeing 'Coronation Street' actress Tracy Shaw and gave her the same £30,000 ring he'd bought for Anna.

Darren later dated his 'Summer Holiday' co-star Isla Fisher - who is now married to Sacha Baron Cohen - and proposed to her too.

After yet another failed relationship he fell in love with Adele Vellacot - who was starring alongside him in a pantomime - and was engaged to her for eight months before it emerged he'd seduced another of his 'Summer Holiday' co-stars, Suzanne.

After she fell pregnant with his son he proposed, but later cheated on her with his 'Joseph' co-star Cecilia Carneby and walked out on her and their three-month-old son after telling her, "I don't do family".

Two years later Darren got married to Stephanie Dooley - with whom he has a daughter named Madison.

The couple are still together now but split for a short time in 2010 after Stephanie found out he'd spent the night with ex-girlfriend Suzanne.

If Darren does enter the famous 'CBB' house he will reportedly be joining 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star Scott Disick - who was dumped by Kourtney Kardashian earlier this year amid rumours of his infidelity - 'Made in Chelsea' hunk Spencer Matthews, former 'Hollyoaks' actress Stephanie Davis and 'Geordie Shore' star Scott 'Scotty T' Timlin.
