Danny Dyer uses scented toilet paper
Danny Dyer thinks he's middle-class because he uses scented toilet paper.
The 'EastEnders' star, who is known for his thick cockney accent, believes he's managed to creep up into the upper- class section of the infrastructure because he now wipes his backside with sweet-smelling tissue.
Speaking on BBC Radio 1, he said: "I'm a working boy... I'm posh and I'm middle cass as well because of where I live, my kids all go to private school and I've got scented toilet paper. It's cinnamon. That's middle-class, isn't it?"
However, the 38-year-old actor can't believe his fiancee Joanne, with whom he has children Dani, 19, Sunnie, seven and Arty, two, spends £10 on a single roll of toilet paper.
He added: "My missus buys toilet paper that's about a tenner a pop and I thought, 'Surely we're middle-class now.' That belongs to middle-class."
Despite claiming he's now gone up in the world, Danny - who is known for playing loveable landlord Mick Carter in the BBC One soap - still feels the need to defend the working-class.
The handsome star took a swipe at TV host Jeremy Kyle, known for tackling controversial topics on television, for making money at other people's expense.
He explained: "It's not necessarily him as a man, it's his show. I just can't stand the geezer...Which is probably a bit strong considering I've never met him. [He] makes entertainment out of their despair."
And Danny certainly won't be able to hold his tongue if he were to bump into the chat show host in the street and has admitted he'd probably feel the urge to "choke him."
He added: "If he swings a right-hander at me we'll see what happens. I'll just choke him."
