Couple get engaged at Adele's London show
Adele invited a couple to join her on stage after they got engaged during her song 'Make You Feel My Love'.
The 'Hello' hitmaker briefly stopped her performance of the track at London's The O2 last night (15.03.16) to clarify what she spotted in the audience, then invited the happy pair up on stage after she finished the song.
She admitted: "I thought there was a fight at first! I saw loads of camera phone lights go on and loads of arms go up and I thought it was a fight! Come up here - I know, I get stage fright too but come up."
When the pair, whose names haven't been revealed, got on stage, Adele probed them on their relationship and admitted the proposal was the "most beautiful thing" she'd ever seen at one of her gigs.
Upon hearing they had been together over 12 years, she said: "I'm just so in love with you both, how did you hear him? Because I was wailing!
"It's amazing to think you've been going out longer than I've been making music, and you've got a baby as well, called Alfie.
" That was the most beautiful thing I've ever witnessed at one of my shows. If I'd known I'd have dedicated that song to you. Are you gonna set a date? Wait, save up
"That was amazing, people started cheering, then they started kissing, then she started crying, it was lovely. Oh my goodness!"
And the couple weren't the only fans to join the 27-year-old superstar on stage.
After greeting a number of her supporters, the 'Rolling in the Deep' singer was delighted to spot a youngster named Seb in the crowd with his mother and asked him to join her in the spotlight before she sang 'Skyfall'.
She told him: "You are the coolest little boy ever, you're so beautiful and you look so smart, thanks for dressing up for me! You've got so much hair!
"Do you like my music or have you been dragged along? I thought you were going to be really kind and say you came because your mum wanted you too but you came because you like my music, that's amazing.
"Let's go over there and let your mum get a photo of us. I just love seeing kids at my shows."
