Chris Hemsworth: Three kids means double the trouble
Actor Chris Hemsworth feels like he has six children rather than three, adding his tots have taught him "the full gamut of emotions, good and bad".
The Australian hunk and his wife Elsa Pataky are parents to daughter India Rose, three, and twin boys Tristan and Sasha, who were born in March 2014. Chris has made no secret of how much he enjoys fatherhood and although it can be tiring, it's an eye-opening experience for the star.
“It feels like I have six,” he grinned to Australia’s Daily Life. “They’re non-stop, active kids. The biggest thing I’ve learned by having kids is that now I know what love is. I know what frustration is. I know the full gamut of emotions, good and bad. I feel I had just scratched the surface prior. Each time you add one, it feels like three more.”
Chris admits it's easier for him and his family to lead a "normal existence" in his home country as people who recognise him tend to be more laidback. However, things couldn't be more different Stateside. Having starred in hit flicks such as Thor, Rush and Snow White and the Huntsman, Chris has become a fully fledged film star.
"If you are living in Hollywood, people have travelled from around the world to see people in the entertainment business and they’ve got the cameras ready and a bigger deal is made of it," he added of living in the US. "Here (in Byron Bay, Australia), we have a very normal existence, people are very respectful, and that was why we chose to come here.”
Along with his wife by his side, Chris has brothers Luke and Liam to help him through the ever-changing world of fame. His siblings are also actors, with the youngest Liam currently promoting his latest movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2.
“They are the best support I have, and hopefully vice versa,” Chris added.
