Charlize Theron rules out having more children
Charlize Theron is in no rush to expand her family as her "hands are really full" looking after her two young kids.
The Monster star adopted her son Jackson in 2012 and her daughter August in July (15) and she is so busy juggling motherhood with her Hollywood career that she can't even contemplate adding any more kids into the mix, not to mention pets.
"Both of my hands are really full right now," she tells ETOnline.com "I think I'm good for now... My son Jackson is like, 'Let's get a cat,' and I'm like, 'No! No! No more things that need to be fed! We're slowing down'".
The 40-year-old insists she is constantly aware of how lucky she is to have the two children, adding, "There's not one moment where I don't realise how unbelievably lucky I have it... They're little gems, they really are. They're amazing."
Charlize mentioned them during her Best Female Performance acceptance speech for Mad Max: Fury Road at the MTV Movie Awards on Saturday (09Apr16).
She thanked Jackson "for putting a smile on my face every day" while she made the intense movie, and concluded her speech by saying, "The story of Fury Road is in part a story of the power of women and the power to create our own destinies... Tonight I accept this award on behalf of my own Furiosa, my daughter, August Simone, and on behalf of all the Furiosas out there."
Discussing her speech with ETOnline, she said "there was no way I couldn't thank my son" because he was in her trailer every day while she shot the movie, and he helped lift her spirits following tough days of filming.
