Charlie Sims quits The Only Way Is Essex
Charlie Sims has quit 'The Only Way Is Essex'.
The 23-year-old star has announced his departure from the ITVBe show after also hinting that he's called time on his five-year relationship with co-star Ferne McCann.
Charlie has been seen going through difficult times over the past year as his longterm girlfriend has had numerous arguments with his older sister and fellow TOWIE star Chloe Sims.
Taking to Twitter to vent his frustration, he wrote: "So sad to lose not one.. But two people you love dearly to a TV show. Everyone can point the finger at me.. But I have morals. And dignity.
"And some sort of self respect. I wish @Chloe_Sims and @fernemccann the best with their lives. But always live knowing you chose the show... (sic)."
Charlie previously took a break from the reality show last year but decided to return after taking some time for himself but he's now revealed he's decided to move on for good.
He said: "And finally to the @OnlyWayIsEssex .. I won't be taking part anymore. It's Time to grow up and move on. Wish everyone the best on the show!
"Stay true to who you are. Today I became me the real Charlie sims.. And so another chapter begins (sic)."
The deli-owner later retweeted a message from former TOWIE star Mick Norcross which read: "@charliesims_ well said mate full respect to you! X (sic)"
Charlie added responded saying: "Thanks Mick."
