Blue's Duncan James to play Prince in Snow White panto

Duncan James will star as the Prince alongside 'Birds of a Feather' star Lesley Joseph in 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'.

The Blue star has been cast in the magical pantomime - being staged by Qdos Entertainment at the Theatre Royal in Plymouth - which will be brought to life with an abundance of comedy, fabulous costumes and stunning sets plus, plenty of audience participation.

Lesley, 70, will be portraying the Wicked Queen.

Jonathan Kiley - the executive producer of 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' - said: "Both Lesley and Duncan are first-rate pantomime performers of the very highest calibre, and perfect for panto in Plymouth. With Lesley's comic timing and Duncan's stunning vocals and stage presence 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' is going to be a magical Christmas treat for the entire family."

Duncan may be best known for being one of the four members of boy band Blue - who reformed in 2009 following a four-year break - but he also has extensive stage experience, appearing on London's West End in 'Chicago' and 'Legally Blonde' and he will be sharing the role of Tick with Jason Donovan in the touring musical 'Priscilla, Queen of the Desert' this year.
