Ariel Winter at war with car repair shop

Actress Ariel Winter is at odds with bosses at a Los Angeles car shop after publicly blasting the garage's customer care online.

The Modern Family star claims she took her wrecked Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon to Paulee's Body Shop earlier this year (16), but it took them four months to repair - much to the 18-year-old's annoyance.

She took to Instagram.com on Monday (11Jul16) to express her outrage, warning fans not to use Paulee's after experiencing what she alleges was terrible service from "unprofessional, intolerable people".

In her lengthy post, Ariel goes on to accuse "sketchy" staff members of failing to keep track of the whereabouts of her vehicle, and declares, "I am quite frankly appalled and will NEVER go there again. I advise everyone to go SOMEWHERE ELSE if you are in need of a body shop. If I could give them a -10 on (review site) @yelp... etc I would...if you want to as well I wouldn't mind..."

She concluded her rant with a middle finger emoji and the hashtag "#worstbodyshopever".

Ariel's online attack has irked Paulee's management officials, who have challenged the actress' claims, insisting her car was only in the shop for two months and required $75,000 (£56,500) in repairs due to the rarity of parts available for the limited edition SUV (sports utility vehicle).

A spokesman tells TMZ.com the G-Wagon is still in his garage because Winter has yet to pay for the repair work. He is demanding full payment from the actress, while he also wants the teen to delete her Instagram rant about the business.

Winter has yet to respond.
