Anne Hathaway 'planning Hollywood break after birth'

Actress Anne Hathaway is reportedly can't wait to take a break from Hollywood when she becomes a mother for the first time.

The 33-year-old star and her husband Adam Shulman are expecting their first child together and although neither have confirmed the happy news, Anne has been spotted out with a growing baby bump. It's been a busy few years for the brunette beauty, with movies including The Intern and Interstellar filling her schedule, so it's thought she'll take a break from the spotlight once her baby arrives.

"Anne can't wait to be a mum," an insider told Britain's Closer magazine. "She's been wanting it for a long time and waited until the right time to take a break from Hollywood. She feels she's achieved so much already, it's time to take a break from acting. She's told friends she wants to put her career on the back burner for a while and concentrate on being a full-time mum."

Anne certainly has a lot to be proud of; she scooped the best supporting actress Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA for her role as Fantine in 2012's Les Misérables and has countless other achievements to her name.

She boasts a naturally slim physique and is apparently embracing her baby weight during her pregnancy. So much so that the actress isn't planning to get back to her pre-baby body straight after giving birth, the source adds.

"Anne wants to be healthy and because she doesn't want to rush back into a film role, she's not putting herself under pressure to slim quickly," they added. "She does yoga every day and eats mainly organic food, although she has been tempted by bagels and doughnuts recently to combat morning sickness."
