Amber Rose mistakenly shares phone number with millions of fans online
Model Amber Rose posted her phone number on Twitter and although she deleted the digits almost instantly after they were published, the error prompted many fans to give her a call.
The 32-year-old made the mistake of tweeting out her mobile information on the morning of Monday 28 December (15). "Here’s my number text me," she wrote on the micro-blogging site to her 3.19 million followers, inscribing her Los Angeles based telephone number into the message.
It seems as if she meant to send a private direct message to someone on the social media platform, but instead the star accidentally blasted her personal contact information out to the public.
Even though the tweet was erased minutes later, loads of fans took it upon themselves to give her a ring.
"I just called Amber Rose and she hung up," one fan tweeted, with a second follower stating: "That better be Amber Rose real number kuz I just texted her lol. (sic)"
Gossip Cop called the number to verify if her digits were legitimate and the outlet determined this was not a prank. However, fans who are looking to speak with her by calling the number will be disappointed because it's been disconnected and instead of being greeted with ringing sounds, an automated message stating, "The caller you’re trying to reach is not available," repeats on the line after dialing the digits.
Since the numerical accident took place, Amber has not posted anything new on Twitter.
This dreadful mistake comes after Amber recently instituted boundaries around the personal things she will speak about during future interviews - declaring talk of her ex-boyfriend Kanye West and his new wife Kim Kardashian off limits.
"Not doing it," she replied during a discussion on TV show Watch What Happens Live in October (15), when asked which of the Kardashians interests her least. "No, I am not talking about Kanye West or the Kardashians. Not in a negative way… but they are not relevant to my life."
