Amber Heard arrives to deposition on time amid leaked video drama
Actress Amber Heard made it to her divorce deposition in good time on Saturday (13Aug16).
The Machete Kills star couldn't attend her originally scheduled Friday (12Aug16) hearing due to work and travel complications, but she had no trouble being punctual to sit for questioning with estranged husband Johnny Depp's lawyer Laura Wasser at her law offices in Los Angeles this weekend.
Entertainment Tonight reports Heard arrived nearly 10 minutes ahead of when the deposition was scheduled to begin at 10.00am on Saturday, with onlookers claiming she entered building silently, wearing sunglasses and holding her head low while walking alongside her own legal team, comprised of attorneys Samantha Spector and Joseph Koenig.
Amber's lawyers secured the Saturday deposition date after submitting a successful withdrawal petition to the judge, who granted a postponement to the original Friday hearing so that the actress could catch a flight from London, England, where she is currently filming Justice League, back to Los Angeles on time to speak to Depp's lawyers.
The smooth deposition on Saturday is a world away from the drama that ensued at a similar hearing scheduled earlier this month (Aug16), when Amber was accused by Depp's attorney Wasser of acting "manic and irrational" while refusing to talk as she "paced in a separate room."
Meanwhile, the contentious divorce process between the former couple continues to get uglier, as a video recording of a vicious argument the pair had with one another before their split emerged online this week (ends12Aug16). In the footage, a furious Johnny is captured bickering with Amber while appearing to throw a bottle and a glass as he swears.
And although speculation is rife Heard had something to do with the leak, TMZ reports she issued a statement claiming she did not release the video.
The 30-year-old star filed for divorce in May (16) and she received a temporary restraining order the same month against Depp, 53, who she has accused of domestic abuse. Both parties are expected to attend another court hearing on 17 August (16).
