Allison Williams ‘marrying this weekend’

Allison Williams ‘marrying this weekend’

Girls actress Allison Williams is reportedly hosting her star-studded wedding this weekend.

The 27-year-old became engaged to CollegeHumor founder Ricky Van Veen last year.

And it’s claimed the couple are headed down the aisle on Saturday in America’s Midwest region.

“The wedding is being kept so secret that guests are being asked to fly to Denver, where they will be picked up and taken to the location,” a source told Page Six.

The guest list is said to be impressive, as Allison’s news anchor father Brian Williams, rocker Bruce Springsteen, her Girls co-star Lena Dunham, Andy Cohen, Seth Meyers, Barry Diller and Diane von Furstenberg are all due to attend.

According to rumours, Tom Hanks might even be officiating the ceremony while his wife Rita Wilson watches from the audience.

The nuptials are supposedly taking place in a rural setting, with speculation suggesting the event will be hosted in Wyoming.

“The accommodations for all guests are being paid for and then many of the guests are flying to LA together for Sunday’s Emmys,” the insider noted.

The 67th Primetime Emmy Awards are taking place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on September 20.

Allison previously revealed she had to postpone her and Ricky’s wedding, with her father Brian’s news fabrication scandal likely to have contributed to the delay of their nuptials in addition to professional commitments.

“It's been a very full year...You sort of think, 'What could possibly come along that would make me not think about [my wedding]?' And then I get 'Peter Pan' and I think, 'OK, I will think only about Neverland and then we'll go back to planning our wedding,'" she said during an interview with friend Seth Meyers New York's 92Y in February.

"And then current events started happening and so that derailed it a little bit...It's just something we haven't focused on, but, spoiler alert, we are excited!"
