Adele says motherhood is 'f**king hard'
Adele "had no idea" motherhood would be so hard.
The 'Hello' hitmaker, who has three-year-old son Angelo with fiancé Simon Konecki, has hinted her little boy is prone to temper-tantrums, but admits her entire world now revolves around him.
Asked how her life has changed since becoming a parent, the 27-year-old singer said: "It's f**king hard. I thought it would be easy. 'Everyone f**king does it, how hard can it be?' Ohhhh...
"I had no idea. It is hard but it's phenomenal. It's the greatest thing I ever did. He makes me be a d**khead, and he makes me feel young and there's nothing more grounding than a kid kicking off and refusing to do what you're asking of them. It used to be that my own world revolved around me, but now it has to revolve around him."
But the Grammy-winner thinks having a child has helped her to become less dramatic and a better artist.
She told i-D magazine: "I think the [upcoming] album ['25'] is about trying to clear out the past. Becoming a parent and moving past my mid-twenties, I simply don't have the capacity to worry about as many things that I used to really enjoy worrying about. ... I used to f**king love the drama of all of it, but now I'm a mum I only have so much head space. I've got to clear a lot of stuff the f**k out, which is really therapeutic, 'cause I can really hold a grudge. Life is so much easier when you don't hoard your past."
But the Oscar winner isn't sure if she wants more children.
Discussing her plans for the future, she said: "I'd like to tour properly. I'd like to see Britney in Vegas. Dunno about more kids.
"I'd like to make records forever with the time I've been given for this one. If I can do that I'll be really f**king happy."
