5SOS wrap up first headline tour
Calum Hood is feeling "melancholy" as 5 Seconds of Summer's tour comes to an end.
The singer and his bandmates Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings and Ashton Irwin have been playing to packed-out venues since their Rock Out with Your Socks Out Tour kicked off in May.
Last night they wrapped things up with a show in West Palm Beach and Calum has taken to Twitter to thank everyone involved with the process.
"Melancholy day. Last day of tour. Thank you so much to our touring crew who work so hard for us. Hey violet, for being such a rad band
"And most importantly, you guys. For being relentlessly supportive and overwhelmingly vocal and energetic.
"I will never forget you guys giving us the opportunity to go from playing to 12 people to 25,000 people. There is so much love. (sic)," he posted.
It marked the Aussie band's first headlining tour after previously supporting One Direction during their Take Me Home, Where We Are and On the Road Again shows. But Michael has assured fans it won't be their last.
"I F**KING LOVED THIS TOUR. I'm so sad it's over. thank u to every person who came to any show, UK, EU, AUS, NZ, USA, you are the best
"and until next year, 5sos signing off this whole world tour thing (sic)," he tweeted.
For now the boys will focus on the release of their new album Sounds Good Feels Good, which is due out on October 23.
