My son wants to be a hairdresser but his father’s like a bull over it. He wanted him to follow into the family plumbing business but the poor kid has no interest, unlike his brothers.
My sister has a small salon and has offered him a job there. He wants to tell his dad himself but is scared of his reaction. If only he’d calm down and let him do his thing. Any advice?
Maura says: I know your son wants to tell his father himself about his choice of career, but I think it would be a good idea for you to be around when he does talk to him.
Let’s face it, he will be working with his hands just like his father and brothers, only in a different way. So he’s being true to his genes after all!
