Dear Angela

My wife (34) and I (41) are just back from our first ever nudist holiday. We spent a week in France, in a resort where basically everybody went nude or at least topless on the beach.

My wife has a great body and she got many admiring looks, which was a great turn-on for both of us.

In the afternoons, we made love in our room as soon as we got back from the beach. It was amazing - I’d never seen my wife so passionate before. Are there are any places here in Ireland where we can show off my wife’s body in the nude, or where she could at least go topless?

ANGELA SAYS:  In Ireland, going nude – or even just topless - can get you into trouble. There are no officially designated nudist beaches, but in some secluded places nudists are tolerated - and these places enjoy growing popularity. For recommendations, check the website of the Irish Naturists Association.

To clarify: naturists don’t go nude to show off or to become sexually stimulated – they enjoy the ‘natural’ feel of nudity. If your interest in nudity has a sexual component, you could visit a swinger’s party, an event that allows your wife to show off her body without offending anybody and without inviting trouble.

Will toy make me frigid?

Dear Angela

I (36) play with a vibrator twice a week. My husband doesn’t mind. Sometimes he watches, or teases me with it before we sleep together.

I’ve had vibrators for ten years, they’ve become an important part of my sex life.  I’ve heard that they can make a woman frigid. Is that true? I love to sleep with my man and I always reach orgasm, with or without a vibrator. Could I turn frigid if I keep using my vibrators?

ANGELA SAYS: Vibrators won’t make you frigid. They help you explore your body’s potential for sexual pleasures and to enjoy sex more. The only risk is overdoing it; if you become so fixated on vibrator sex – or any other sex game – you might find it difficult to climax without the toy. If that happens, all you need to do is leave the vibrator alone for a few weeks to give your body the chance to re-adjust to other ways of stimulation.

How are her legs so smooth?

Dear Angela

My girlfriend (26) has smooth legs all the time, and although we’re spending every weekend together at my place, I’ve never seen her shaving her legs.

I love the feel of her smooth skin; it’s such a huge turn-on. I’m just wondering how she manages to be so smooth all the time.

When I asked her the other night she laughed and said that she’s never shaved her legs in her life and that they’re just that smooth naturally.

Is that possible? I thought all girls shave or wax their legs?

ANGELA SAYS: No, not all girls shave their legs. Some girls have very fine, short and almost invisible hair on their legs that doesn’t need shaving or waxing. Have a close look at your girlfriend’s legs to check…

Boyfriend masturbated with friends – is that normal?

Dear Angela

My boyfriend and I (both 17) don’t sleep together yet, but we talk about sex. He told me he masturbated with mates when he was younger - they’d get  porn and beers and masturbate together. Sometimes there’d be two of them, sometimes as many as five or six.

He asked me if girls do the same, but I’d no idea. I’ve never done anything like that with other girls. I’ve touched myself since I was 13, but always on my own. Do girls masturbate with their friends?

ANGELA SAYS: Girls masturbate much less frequently than boys, on their own or together with other people. Masturbating with mates is mainly a male pastime: one out of every five guys has masturbated with another male, but only one out of every 16 girls has masturbated with another female.
