Stella McCartney cosy for A/W15
Stella McCartney put on a subdued showcase at Paris Fashion Week today.
The British designer's Autumn/Winter 15 collection was full of winter wrap ups and knitted looks.
One shoulder woollen designs were seen in three incarnations; a black, grey and deep green version. The grey featured an oversized roll neck, while the green was worn layered with a flowing green collared dress, in a more khaki shade.
Deep cuffs was one of the key looks Stella channelled and could be seen on numerous designs, hiding models hands from view and giving a slouchy, cosy feel to the winter wardrobe.
A touch of glamour was injected into proceedings later on in the show, with hints of metallic and faux fur coming down the runway.
Stella's front row was packed with celebrity supporters, with Woody Harrelson, Kanye West and Cara and Poppy Delevingne joining her father, Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, to take in the new season trends.
Sacai also showed in the French capital earlier. Again keeping warm in the colder months was top of the priority list, but with fur trims, tassels, buckles and leather patchwork, the design house made sure you'll look stylish while wrapping up.
Coats and jackets made up the bulk of the collection, with easy to wear looks blending perfectly with more eye-catching designs.
One model wore a high collared jacket and skirt combo decorated in horizontal and vertical blocks of pink, green, purple and gold.
Another strutted down the runway in a jacket adorned with red, purple and brown fur detailing across the arms and body of the design. It was completed with a full red fur collar.
Today will also see Hermès, Sonia Rykiel and Saint Laurent show of their latest looks.
