Sophie Monk was told to audition for Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
Sophie Monk was once asked to audition for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show but she declined.
The 35-year-old model has claimed she was approached by the lingerie bosses nine years ago but she decided against it because she didn't want to be plagued with worry about her body and her looks for the rest of her life.
While hosting Australia's 106.5 Summer Fling breakfast show with Matty Acton, the blonde beauty, who was raised Down Under, said: "I got asked to audition for it but I decided no. I didn't want to worry about my body my whole life.
"It was after 'Date Movie' [in 2006] and they asked me and I went 'nope, I don't want my life to be around diets.' "
Meanwhile, this year's show saw models-of-the-moment Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, both 20, strut their stuff down the runway at Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City.
The fashion extravaganza proved a huge success after Behati Prinsloo - who walked first in 2014 - again opened the annual event.
Long-time angel Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel followed behind, while Lily Aldridge stole the show when she sashayed down the catwalk in this year's $2 million Fireworks Fantasy Bra.
Themes for the show included snow queens, butterflies, fireworks and carnival, with the finale set to a backdrop of snow and white Christmas trees.
