Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Shania Twain workouts rocked!
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley exercised to Shania Twain with her mother and brother as a child.
The 28-year-old regularly puts her toned physique on display for the likes of Marks & Spencer, Victoria's Secret and Burberry. Rosie works hard to keep fit but it's a discipline that she's had in place since her childhood when she used to go to her mother's aerobics classes.
"I grew up in the countryside, and she was one of the people in the local town that sort of spearheaded the gym culture down there," she told Yahoo! Beauty. "She’d do aerobic classes in the town hall. My brother, sister, and I were dragged along because she could never get a babysitter for us. We’d be doing aerobics to Shania Twain and Sheryl Crow."
Rosie's mum instilled in her the belief that working out was a way of life not just a way to stay in shape. With partner Jason Statham also big into fitness for his movie roles and her brother Toby getting his personal trainer license, the beauty has plenty of inspiration to keep active.
But that doesn't mean Rosie doesn't enjoy the occasional treat.
"I love to go out with my girlfriends and have an Italian dinner with a great bowl of pasta and a pizza and a glass of wine. That is equally as important to me," she continued. "I want people to know that I work really hard for my body, but I also have fun and it’s an important thing. It’s important to indulge and relax and have fun."
For the Brit, it's all about achieving a happy balance between eating healthily and working out while still enjoying the occasional splurge.
"You put all those hard hours in at the gym and you don’t want to ruin it with bad food," she added. "But with that said, you also have to live. I have an 80/20 rule when I am at home, which is eating very clean, lean, organic as much as possible. Then when I am travelling, I’m not going to beat myself up."
