Roger Vivier has teamed up with stylist Camille Seydoux on a range of denim shoes and accessories.

The famed footwear label's Prismick collection includes shoulder bags with chain straps, large totes, pointed court shoes and slingbacks. It's getting a redesign courtesy of Camille, who has re-imagined the pieces in the easy-to-wear fabric.

"I wanted to work on the idea of facets that make up grades of shading," she told WWD. "I looked through the maison’s archives and then I thought of denim. It’s a fabric that naturally burnishes. Denim is both classic and modern, and is very resistant."

It also helped that the stylist has one of her own Prismick bags to look at, a version which comes in shades of black and grey.

The pieces will be available to buy from February (16), and the idea behind the collaboration was to introduce the brand to a younger audience.

Camille is the older sister of actress Léa Seydoux and often helps her sibling wow on the red carpet at industry events. There have been many of these appearances of late, as the French star appeared in the latest James Bond movie Spectre, allowing Camille to dress her in some very glamorous pieces.

"It's funny because she likes to hide her body in real life, but on the red carpet she's super-feminine," Camille previously told Fashionista. "She likes tight clothes, and likes to show some skin.

"Sometimes, I'm working on a look and she doesn't even know what it is until the very last minute. I think I decide more with her than with other actresses. She trusts me and I know what fits her well. I know she's going to like it. Sometimes she tells me that she likes one better the last, but it's okay. She trusts me."
