Proenza Schouler help calm model

Proenza Schouler's designers are "absolutely amazing", according to model Steph Smith.

Duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez founded their womenswear and accessories label in 2002 and they now sell their pieces all around the globe.

Steph's first ever big job was walking for the brand's fall show in New York earlier this year, and she remembers how reassuring Jack and Lazaro were.

"They are absolutely amazing - two of the nicest and most talented guys I have ever met! From the very first time I worked with them, I felt so instantly comfortable. The more I see of them, the more I get to know them and their team," she smiled to style.com. "One thing that really sticks out in my mind is right before the Fall 2015 show I was so nervous to be opening, and they both came over and said: 'Are you excited? You’re going to kill it!' It made me feel so much more at ease before my first international show."

There's no stopping Steph on the runway now and she recently walked during Prada's menswear show, making her one of the few girls to win the job. The blonde beauty looked striking in a variety of outfits, such as a patterned dress that boasted snakeskin, stripes and racing car prints. It was a "cool" experience for the up-and-coming star and won't be forgotten any time soon.

"The backstage was a bit hectic and busy right up until the show, but I think that just adds to the amazing energy around you," she explained. "It certainly got me excited to be walking the show. Truthfully, after I walked, I couldn’t stop smiling. It was like, 'That just happened? Amazing!'"
