Presley Gerber panicked about tripping during runway debut

Presley Gerber kept telling himself to not trip over during his runway debut for Moschino.

The 17-year-old son of fashionista Cindy Crawford and former model Rande Gerber is following in his parents' footsteps by making a name for himself in the industry, and walked on the runway for the first time in June (16) for the flamboyant label helmed by Jeremy Scott. It was a big moment for Presley, with Cindy and his model sister Kaia sitting in the crowd, but all the teenager could concentrate on was staying upright.

"Don’t fall. That’s all, I was like please don’t trip, just make it to the end," he grinned to W magazine when asked what he thought during his runway moment. "Because I’ve done that, and (during) Dolce (& Gabbana's show, also in June) I just did (the same), and both of those, same thing: Please just make it. I get sidetracked really easily, so if I just think about what I’m doing, then I can do it better."

Kaia, 14, was extremely proud of her older brother and can't wait to get into the spotlight herself having already landed various magazine spreads. However she has a few years to wait yet and she's planning to start her runway career slowly, as she's aware of how "exhausting" it can be.

While Presley never dreamed of becoming a model, his sibling knew for a long time that she wanted to strike poses for the camera.

"I had a moment when I was like, I want to act, I want to sing, but it was always there for me," she said of her fashion career. "And I love it and always had so much fun and these are the people that I look up to, so like seeing how many people you meet and all the places you go. It’s just so fun to have your life documented and have these photos of me throughout the years."
