Natasha Poly stars in bold Kurt Geiger campaign
Natasha Poly has been tapped to star in an "empowering" new campaign for Kurt Geiger.
The Russian supermodel poses in the latest imagery for the British footwear brand, which was designed to celebrate women with attitude. In the images, the 31-year-old is seen standing in a range of dynamic poses, modelling the new season's black pointed ankle booties, studded lace-up combat boots, black patent leather creepers and thigh-high suede boots.
As well as showing off the shoes to great effect, the blonde beauty showcases some of Kurt Geiger's other accessories, including a leopard print heart-shaped purse, a larger crocodile-look leather tote and a tan leather satchel with shoulder strap. Speaking about the range, Natasha, the latest brand ambassador for the label, shares she likes how the designs speak to the concept of female empowerment.
"The collection is all about having the freedom to wear what you want, whatever your mood," she told WWD. "In this day and age there is no rule book. Express your identity through the power of fashion and have fun." The campaign was photographed by Erik Torstensson in London, choreographed by Stephen Galloway and styled by Geraldine Saglio. Similarly, Kurt Geiger's creative director, Rebecca Farrar-Hockley, said that Natasha was a natural fit for the campaign as she embodies the multifaceted modern woman.
"This season is all about exploring self-expression and style personalities," explained Rebecca, adding, "Be bold, fierce and experimental."
The campaign will first be published in the September (16) issues of British Vogue and Elle, which will be released in August. It will then roll out to international titles.
Kurt Geiger has over 70 stores, a digital global flagship, and over 170 concessions within the world’s most prestigious department stores, including Harrods and Selfridges.
