Moschino to show men's collection in Milan
Moschino is to hold its next menswear presentation in Milan.
The Italian luxury fashion house is headed back to its home base, with creative director Jeremy Scott choosing to present his latest collections in the city on 14 January next year (17), reports WWD.
The show will mark the first time Scott has shown his Moschino men’s collection in Milan, and he will also present his women’s pre-fall line for the brand at the same time.
Scott, known for his colourful and eccentric designs, has been experimenting with different show formats since he joined the brand in 2013. The American designer held Moschino’s men’s spring 2017 collection and women’s resort 2017 lineup on the same runway in Los Angeles in June (16) and unveiled its men’s fall collection and women’s pre-fall range in London in January (16).
Meanwhile, Scott unveiled his latest collaboration with Google on Wednesday (09Nov16).
The 41-year-old designer, who also helms his eponymous label, has created a line of playful custom cases for the technology company’s new Pixel phone.
Scott has created six Live Cases for the brand, each of which are covered in a different cartoon print. The cases snap on to the phone and are equipped with Near-field communication technology, which detects the presence of the cases and causes an animated wallpaper app to pop-up on the phone. The cases also give users access to a custom "J'emoji" keyboard with a selection of animated emojis.
"What’s really exciting about these cases is that the emojis jump off the cases into your screens. I’ve never had the ability to do this before, as the technology is something new from Google," he said.
The cases, which retail for $40 (£32) each, will be available through the Google store for users in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and Germany starting 10 November (16) through until the end of January (17).
