Marchesa is launching a new jewellery line.

The label, launched in 2004 by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, is best known for its beautiful red carpet gowns, worn by the likes of Halle Berry and Sienna Miller.

Adding to its already luxurious vibe, the brand has signed a licensing agreement with NHW Jewellery Co. to create a range of trinkets in time for the holidays. The pieces were created to be worn in harmony with the Marchesa Couture and Marchesa Notte collections.

“This season, the [ready-to-wear] collection has a 1920s influence, harkening back to the decadence and carefree attitude of the time,” Georgina told WWD.

The line will be available both online and at upscale department stores in the US. Georgina also shared some of the items which will be featured in the collection.

“3D chiffon poppies are remade in bold enamel, and fringe tassels are highlighted on statement necklaces and earrings," she explained.

Pearls, crystals and semiprecious stones have been incorporated into the jewellery, which will cost up to $595.

This isn't the first time Marchesa has ventured into jewellery; earlier this year the brand sold an exclusive line through Macy's.

Georgina has often spoken about the target audience of her brand and is pleased her offerings appeal to women of all ages.

"My main aim is to make women feel beautiful and I don’t think that starts or stops at any age - I think you always want to look your best,” she previously told Stylist.co.uk.

“I’ve done trunk shows where I’ve had eight-year-olds come – these kids are savvy and just want to see what we’re doing. We also had a woman who had just turned 90 and she had bought the same dress Halle Berry wore to the Oscars."
