Marc Jacobs laughs off nude leak
Marc Jacobs has poked fun at his accidental nude photo by "leaking" his new favourite campaign photo.
The fashion designer set tongues wagging when a naked picture of him, which was apparently meant to have been a direct message, appeared on his Instagram account on Monday night.
He was quick to take the snap down, but not before people screen-grabbed the revealing shot. When he realised his mistake, Marc took the mishap in his stride and began to upload pictures from his latest Autumn/Winter 15 campaign, one of which he captioned with a humorous line.
"This next photo I am "leaking" is one of my very favorites photographed by David Sims... (sic)" he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Sofia Coppola wearing a tweed black-and-grey jacket with a skunk-like trim at the top and matching bag.
He praised the American filmmaker, gushing about her sense of style, ambitions and creativity.
Luckily his fans reassured him after his risqué move, with one user commenting that the fashion star should have "no shame" in sharing his "beautiful backside".
Also starring in Marc's new ads is model Emily Ratajkowski, who smoulders at the camera wearing a black-and-white cover-up in a similar style to Sofia's trim and bag. Her eyebrows are bold and her hair is styled in a messy up-do. Again, Marc recalled how he first met the "sweet" and "energetic" brunette beauty and his love for her.
"As a sports illustrated swim suit model, as an actor in GONE GIRL and an all around sweet, fun and friendly woman- thank you for bringing your brand of red hot sex appeal and glamour to this David Sims portrait from our Fall/Winter campaign. (sic)" he said, referring to photographer David, who shot the ads.
