Kristen Stewart won't wear 'tonnes' of jewellery

Kristen Stewart won't wear "tonnes of jewellery", according to her stylist Tara Swennen.

The 26-year-old actress dislikes wearing an arm full of bangles or layering up her accessories too much because she prefers to wear items with more sentimental value attached to them.

Speaking to PEOPLE about the blonde beauty's wardrobe choices, the long-time fashion guru said: "Kristen doesn't wear tonnes of jewellery.

"Most of the time, she wears sentimental pieces. Each piece has meaning for her and that's why she wears it.

"Even in an all-black outfit, her personality shines."

And the 'Twilight' star has to be comfortable in whatever she wears, and although she "loves" to don high heeled shoes for red carpet events, she doesn't enjoy tottering around in stilettos for too long.

Speaking about Kristen's style criteria, Tara explained: "There's always a little bit of edge mixed in with Kristen's elegant and chic pieces, but it's not overtly punk - it's unexpected.

"She's innately cool.

"If there's one thing I could say about Kristen and I, it's that comfort is key.

"She loves a good heel. She just doesn't want to wear them for five hours. None of us do!"

However, Kristen - who was named the face of Chanel make-up in February this year and starred in the Collection Eyes 2016 campaign for the luxury brand - channels a laid-back vibe for her everyday ensembles, although she customises her outfits by cutting her t-shirts.

Tara said: "When it comes to her everyday look, Kristen is always tying her tees up or cutting them."

Meanwhile, the 'On the Road' star - who worked with Chanel's creative director Karl Lagerfeld in a short film, 'Once and Forever' for the brand's Métiers d'Art fashion show in Rome - has been credited as a great actress by the 82-year-old fashion mastermind.

Speaking previously about his collaboration with Kristen, Karl said: "I think she's one of the greatest actors of her generation. She gives the right emotion and the right intensity immediately so it's very easy to work her."
