Kourtney Kardashian 'loves' making her own lip scrub
Kourtney Kardashian "loves" to make her own homemade lip scrub.
The 37-year-old 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star has admitted she likes to keep her beauty regime "really simple" and avoids using "harsh" skincare products because they don't work well with her skin, and instead relies on her own beauty products to create a product more suitable for her face.
Speaking on ITV's 'This Morning' on Monday (07.11.16) about her beauty hacks, the brunette beauty said: "I do try and keep it really simple, like for me simple skin care, I've tried to harsh products and they really don't work well with my skin.
"I love making a lip scrub at home. I make the lip scrub with one tablespoon of organic coconut oil and one tablespoon of Manuka Honey and one tablespoon of organic sugar raw, rub them all together. It's really easy and it actually tastes really good too, but you just scrub it on your lips and leave it on for a little bit and I feel like you could use it as a face scrub too.
"My favourite thing at night time is to use facial oils, and I put them on my eyelids and under my eyes and on my neck and on my hands."
And Kourtney - who is the face of Manuka Doctor - has revealed she relies on household products and cooking ingredients to remove her make-up.
She explained: "The coconut oil too is great for removing make-up."
And Kourtney - who has sons Mason, six, and 23-month-old Reign, and daughters Penelope, six, with her former partner Scott Disick - has revealed 60-year-old momager Kris Jenner's beauty tricks have rubbed off on her and her siblings.
She said: "I would say that my mum is the one who really started it all with all of us, so I think because she is so into beauty I think just watching her as a little girl, I think that is really how you learn. She always loved make-up and my sisters and I would play with her make-up.
"The thing that she would always tell us is that she used to be a flight attendant years ago and she said they all went to this beauty class or something and they told them to always use a hot wash cloth when you wash your face and keep it on your face for like a minute and then scrub your face. I think we all do that and learned that from her.
"My sisters and I do regularly talk about beauty tips and talk about different things we are into. We're also critical of eachother, I think if we like something or don't like something we are definitely very vocal."
