Kevin Carrigan advises fashion fans to stick to what works for them.

The designer is the creative director of Calvin Klein White Label, Calvin Klein Jeans and ck Calvin Klein, so knows a thing or two about style.

For those looking to find the perfect pair of jeans, Kevin has shared his top denim tip.

“I love cropped jeans in either a mid-rise skinny or boyfriend style. The cropped jean is a silhouette that never goes out of style and can be worn year-round," he told vogue.com.au. “Find what works for you and stick with it. Once you find the right fit and cut, experiment with a new wash.”

For the spring and summer months Kevin suggests rocking a light-wash jean with a white T-shirt, or a little black dress paired with "soft, athletic-inspired" accessories to give the outfit a modern touch.

The star is adventurous with his ads and launched the #mycalvins campaign starring the likes of Kendall Jenner, Justin Bieber and Lara Stone. It prompts fashion fans to share photos of their own pieces from the label by using the hashtag on social media.

Speaking about why he chose fresh faces Kendall and Justin to front the ads, Kevin put it down to his brand's audience.

“The focus is always about finding the most compelling and provocative way to communicate the product to the consumer. Kendall’s powerful fan base and global awareness helped to amplify the conversation," he explained. “Justin is great to work with; his talent and energy are inspiring.”

Calvin Klein is busy with its latest exciting venture; collaborating with Opening Ceremony on an underwear range. The undergarments, for both men and women, come complete with the recognisable Calvin Klein logo and an Opening Ceremony label.
