Kelly Gale curbs the cold with hot yoga

Model Kelly Gale loves a spot of hot yoga when it gets cold.

The 20-year-old beauty hails from Sweden, so is used to plummeting temperatures during the winter. When the weather turns icy Kelly knows exactly how to keep herself warm and comfortable, which includes a unique take on an ancient form of exercise.

“I absolutely love going to hot yoga in the winter," she smiled to "It feels amazing when you walk there in the cold, and then get into this peaceful, heated room to meditate and stretch.

“I always set my apartment temperature to 26 degrees Celsius, or 78 degrees Fahrenheit, so at least I’m fine whenever I’m inside. When I go out, I wear hundreds of layers of clothing to keep myself warm, and I walk fast.”

Kelly is no stranger to being in the limelight, having walked for the likes of Victoria's Secret, Chanel and Tommy Hilfiger, so she ensures she always looks her best. This means giving extra attention to her skin when it's cold, turning to products such as avocado oil and Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour cream.

She doesn't just care for her skin though, explaining what's happening inside her body is just as important to her. “My go-to drink in the winter to fight colds and flus is about 3.4 ounces of water mixed with 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, lots of cayenne pepper and cinnamon, one lemon, and 1 teaspoon of raw honey," she listed. "I make it the night before, and drink it first thing every morning on an empty stomach. On top of strengthening your immune system, this concoction also wakes you up, giving you lots of energy, and boosts your metabolism. It’s my power drink!”

When the winter chill get too much Kelly jets off to the Caribbean for some sun and warm weather.
