Kate Moss: Wedding is my top beauty moment

The sequins on Kate Moss' wedding dress took 80 hours to apply.

The 41-year-old model married The Kills rocker Jamie Hince in July 2011, wearing a custom-made dress by John Galliano. Although she has walked for all the major fashion houses in the world, this remains Kate's favourite fashion moment by far.

"I felt my most beautiful at my wedding. It was the most gorgeous day, with beautiful lighting and the dress [by John Galliano] was just amazing," she told Stella magazine. "I think it took 80 hours to hand-sew the sequins on. The whole day was just perfect."

The dress boasted a V-neck and was fitted to show off Kate's figure, with layers of chiffon giving it an other-worldly feel. She kept her blonde hair loose on the big day and went for natural make-up, which is the look she tends to favour when she's not working.

"Day-to-day, I like to keep things really simple. It means there’s little room for mistakes, thankfully," she laughed, adding mascara, a bold lipstick and some St Tropez Skin Illuminator tends to be all she needs.

That wasn't the only beauty secret the star gave away. One of her top titbits was to use a body exfoliator every day to ensure skin stays fresh, finishing her shower with a jet of cold water to get her blood pumping too.

Kate also likes hair masks to stop her tresses going brassy, but she's not big on other kinds of pampering because it seems too much like work for her. That's the same when it comes to tanning, she prefers to fake it than sit outside baking for hours on end, and she shared a secret to keeping skin plump too.

"At night, I love the ritual of applying a face oil – they make me feel like my skin has been restored and are just so nourishing. You feel like you’re plumping up your skin and putting a bit of life back in it. I like trying different skincare products, but I find Crème de la Mer is the most enriching for my skin," she said.
