Kate Moss loves a good juice cleanse

Kate Moss bounces off the walls with the amount of energy she has after a juice cleanse.

The 42-year-old model has always rocked a slim physique, which she has flaunted on the catwalk and in high-end campaigns for the likes of Chanel and Burberry. Like many fashion stars, Kate likes a good detox and insists she is more buzzing after a liquid diet than she is following proper meals.

"I juice. At least three times a year, for a week, I do a juice cleanse," she told W magazine. "I like it. I feel amazing. And then I have so much energy! Everyone else is like, ‘Please... shhhh...’ Oh my god, I have so much energy start bouncing off walls!

"I don’t drink that much (coffee) really, but I took my mum on a cleanse once and she said, ‘Oh, I don’t know if I can do this, Kate...’ She drinks coffee and she found it really difficult. I think people who drink coffee say it’s the worst for them."

The cleanse also helps maintain Kate's glowing complexion, even after a night out partying alongside fellow A-listers. A lot of women credit their outlook on beauty to their mothers, but the British star admits her mum Linda didn't pass down any advice as she doesn't think it's something people in the U.K. do in general.

She has picked up some valuable titbits over the years though from experts in the industry

"(Make-up artist) Charlotte Tilbury told me not to go out in the sun, but it’s because she’s a redhead, so she knows. I kind of ignored her, but now I’m taking no risks!" Kate explained.

"Not completely out of the sun, but I don’t sunbathe anymore. Before it was like, ‘Let's just get as brown as we can!’ Now, well, I’d look ridiculous anyway."

Staying safe, Kate sticks to SPF 50 when under the rays now. But being the face of St. Tropez means the blonde bombshell is able to fake a sun-kissed glow without actually putting herself in any danger of harming her skin.
