Jesinta Campbell is the new face of Olay
Jesinta Campbell has landed the coveted spot as the face of Olay Total Effects.
The Australian model, David Jones (upmarket department store) ambassador, and television presenter will front the campaign which will go live in early July (16).
In pictures accompanying the release, the former beauty queen showed off her flawless features in a photo shoot for Olay's Total Effects range as she was unveiled as the face of the major skincare brand.
The announcement comes soon after the former Miss Universe Australia beauty signed with international talent company IMG who represent Australian supermodels Miranda Kerr, Shanina Shaik, and Nicole Trunfio.
"I am so excited to be working with Olay, it’s such a respected brand that aims to make women feel good about themselves, which I love, " Jesinta smiled in a statement.
"Like all busy women, a simple, effective skincare regimen is essential for me. Whether I’m putting in long hours on set, working out or travelling, I know I can trust that Olay Total Effects will keep my skin healthy and radiant despite my crazy lifestyle."
It is the first major campaign, and a stunning rise to the big leagues, for the former beauty queen since she signed with the powerhouse talent agency, in her bid to be ranked among the world's top supermodels.
Jesinta has undergone a style and image overhaul in recent years, swapping her bleach blonde hair for a more classy brunette bobbed look, and tightening up her figure with regular workouts with her athlete fiancee, Australian Football League forward Lance 'Buddy' Franklin.
Skincare is something the model is clearly passionate about, and in a 2013 interview with PopSugar she shared her top beauty tip: "I always wash my face before going to bed — I would never sleep with make up on, mum was always so strict with my sister and I on that one!"
