Hilary Rhoda keeps fit to stay strong
Hilary Rhoda works out to gain mental clarity.
The American model rose to fame in 2007 after being signed as the face of Estee Lauder, and by the time she was 20 had graced the cover of American Vogue. In 2011 she cemented her status as a top model by appearing in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and has featured in Forbes list of top earning models.
As well as stunning features, 29-year-old Hilary is known for her athletic body. When it comes to staying in shape, the brunette star does so to be fit over any desire to be thin, and always makes sure she takes her trusty skipping rope and alb weights whenever she travels.
“It makes me feel good and it gives me that mental clarity,” she smiled to Britain’s ES magazine.
Hilary isn’t the only model to subscribe to the strong is sexy motto; Karlie Kloss likes to kickbox while Gigi Hadid is a fan of cross-training.
Hilary has always been athletic and, standing at a statuesque 5’11”, towered over the boys while still at school.
“(I) never felt insecure about it. I played basketball and thought being tall was cool,” she recalled of her younger days.
As for her diet, Hilary explains that she eats “for fuel”, mixing up Greek yoghurt with granola and fruit, or eggs and hot sauce at breakfast and salads for lunch and dinner. She also likes chocolate, splurging on peanut M&Ms.
And when it comes to crash dieting for a shoot, the catwalk star shuns the idea completely.
