Heidi Klum bowled over by honour
Heidi Klum told audience members how lucky she felt when she picked up the Clio Honorary Image Award.
The German model scooped the prize at the glitzy ceremony in New York, hosted by US TV personality Andy Cohen, this week.
Heidi stunned in a thigh skimming black Thomas Wylde dress, which featured silver detailing. She finished the look with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and silver court shoes.
“I consider myself very lucky. I came here from Germany and appreciate all the people who said ‘no,’ because that made me stronger," Heidi said as she picked up the award. "It made me get up the next day and be feistier and go to more castings. I love this roller-coaster ride. I love this industry that I’m in.”
The Clio Awards take place every year and celebrate innovation and creative excellence in advertising, design and communication.
Other winners of the night include Vinoodh Matadin and Inez Van Lamsweerde, Jane Seymour, Tiki Barber and Peter Brant.
Famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier was there to pick up the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Fashion favourites Anna Ewers, Jourdan Dunn and Maria Borges sat on W magazine's fashion and style director Edward Enninful's table at the ceremony.
Karlie Kloss also made an appearance, with Edward uploading a photo to Instagram of Karlie and Jourdan planting a kiss on both of his cheeks.
"About last night !!! With @officialjdunn and @karliekloss watching these two best friends go from gangly teenagers to fashion icons has been one of the high points of my career. Love Jourlie xoxo #clioimageawards #JourdanDunn #KarlieKloss #Jourlie (sic)," he captioned the shot.
