Hailey Baldwin excited to unveil first design collaboration

Hailey Baldwin can't wait to share her first designer collaboration with The Daily Edited.

The 19-year-old model, and daughter of actor Alec Baldwin, has turned designer by creating a collection with the Australian brand. Titled #theHAILEYedited, the fashion star will also be fronting the campaign for her pieces, including clothes, bags and make-up cases.

Alongside an official photo on Instagram, in which Hailey sits on a chair with a white bag in front of her on the table giving a peek of a passport holder embossed 'with H.B.', the model wrote: "excited to share my first design collab with Aussie [email protected] Watch this space!#theHAILEYedited shot [email protected]_mcdonald".

The Daily Edited also shared an official snap on its page, showing Hailey standing on a rooftop wearing a black dress with a black bag slung over her shoulder. And it seems anyone can have their initials put onto the pieces, as the label captioned the photo: "Announcing our collaboration with Hailey Baldwin#thedailyedited or #thehaileyedited? Beyond right? TDE with @haileybaldwin// need the backpack with your initials - link in bio can't wait to show you more".

In a discussion with The Daily Edited founders Alyce Tran and Tania Liu, who turned their fashion blog into a $5 million business, and Hailey admitted helming her own range is something she's always dreamed of.

"I am excited as this is the first time I am ever designing my own capsule collection, something I have always wanted to do," she reports the Daily Mail Australia.

The star, who has worked for Guess and Tommy Hilfiger, also spoke about her career and how fame affects her.

“My life definitely isn’t as simple as it used to be - the attention on me personally is a lot more. I think people tend to forget the family that I came from in the first place, so it’s not new for me," she explained to the news website. "Things are a lot less simple, I used to live at home with my parents and wake up and go to school and then go to dance class and dance ballet seven days a week. Now I have to be very responsible, I have a job, I have to travel and I have to take care of myself.”
