Gigi: Taylor Swift's vid is powerful

Gigi Hadid has thanked Taylor Swift for "empowering" women.

The stunning model joined an A-list line-up to star in Taylor's Bad Blood music video, which premiered at the Billboards on Sunday night.

Adopting her alter-ego Slay-Z, Gigi can be seen in a sexy leather outfit with her blonde hair scraped back into a high ponytail. The clip goes on to show the stars practising for combat to defeat an enemy.

"Sqaud Goals has never been more real..." Gigi posted on Instagram alongside some stills from the music video. "Thank you to my incredible friend @taylorswift for letting me be a part of this epic cast & experience and for showing our generation the importance of empowering each other!! You made all our secret agent/super hero dreams come true #BadBloodMusicVideo #slayz (sic)"

Gigi, 20, wasn't the only model face to make an appearance; Martha Hunt also features as Homeslice.

"In case you've missed it somehow, Peep #BadBloodMusicVideo and get ready for your mind to be blown @taylorswift13 (sic)," she excitedly tweeted when the video dropped.

Also in the line-up are Cara Delevingne, Cindy Crawford and Lily Aldridge.

But missing from the impressive turnout was model-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner.

“[She] couldn’t do it because she had an out-of-town commitment on shoot day," an insider told E! News. "She was bummed she couldn't but loved the video."

Oh well, it's not as though Taylor was struggling for famous faces; Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, Hailee Steinfeld and Ellie Goulding also joined her for the shoot.
