Georgina Chapman's little luxuries

Georgina Chapman thinks Christian Louboutin shoes are "unparalleled".

The English fashion designer is the co-founder of label Marchesa, which she launched with business partner Keren Craig in 2004.

Since then she's put on countless shows and when it comes to choosing footwear to go with her garments, there's only one brand which stands out for Georgina.

"We always use Christian Louboutin shoes for our runway shows because the quality and design is unparalleled. I also love Tabitha Simmons shoes; they are so chic and comfortable," she told British newspaper The Telegraph.

She was speaking to the publication about her favourite luxury items and cited clothing from her own company as some of her most-loved.

To give her designs a big impact upon being unveiled Georgina makes sure the location of her catwalk production fits the vibe of the line.

"My favourite hotel brand is St. Regis. Marchesa has been hosting fashion shows in the St. Regis New York. It’s just the most perfect setting for our couture pieces," she smiled.

The brunette beauty also touched upon her beauty must-haves, naming Charlotte Tilbury’s Filmstar Bronze and Glow as the product she uses to make her skin look "luminous". She turns to Marchesa in this area too, wearing its perfume every day.

The lavishness doesn't stop there - Georgina is also particular about her sleeping set up.

"My ultimate little luxury is Frette sheets. The styles are classic and they use the finest materials – they are ultra-luxurious and so cosy," she said. "I just had an antique opium bed shipped in from Beijing. It’s huge! I can relax with both my kids in it, which is heaven."
