Georgia May Jagger talks style icon
Georgia May Jagger's style icon is RuPaul.
The British model, daughter of Sir Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, is one of the most stylish women in the industry, rocking high end looks both on the runway and the red carpet.
She's previously admitted raiding her mother's closet for vintage gems, but it's drag queen RuPaul who really sets her fashion pulse racing.
"I like people that are fearless. RuPaul is a big icon of mine, I love his flamboyance, I have pictures of him everywhere. Dolly Parton too," Georgia gushed to British magazine Grazia.
It's not just the styles of real people that Georgia admires, but animated characters too.
Georgia is fronting a Minnie Mouse exhibition, which will take place during London Fashion Week in September. She's sourcing imagery for the event via Instagram, asking Minnie lovers to interpret the famous mouse's style using the hashtag #MinnieStyleUK.
"I’ve always loved Minnie. I even have a Minnie-themed bathroom, red with white polka dots. I’m not kidding!" she giggled.
Modelling and curating an exhibition aren't Georgia's only talents; she also takes after her dad in the music department.
While the 23-year-old recently dismissed her vocal talents, she now reveals that she and model pals Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse have been making sweet music together.
"We wrote a country song one night. My boyfriend [Josh McLellan] produces music, so he helped make us a beat and we wrote the lyrics. It’s about girls on the road without men, listening to the radio, that kind of thing. We’ve done a couple of songs."
"Maybe," she smiled at the suggestion of the world's first supermodel group. "But we’d need another verse first. It only had one…"
