Georgia May Jagger adds edge to clothes with leather jacket

Georgia May Jagger makes her outfits look cooler with a leather jacket.

The model has soared to fame in the fashion industry thanks to jobs for the likes of Rimmel, Vivienne Westwood and Chanel. But when it comes to her off-duty outfits, the 24-year-old likes to keep her look relaxed and minimal, with pops of colour or fun accessories.

Of her favourite piece in her closet, Georgia says it has to be her trusty leather jacket.

"If you're wearing jeans and a simple T-shirt, it makes it look instantly cooler," she told Britain's Look magazine. "I always wear comfortable boots, and sunglasses come everywhere with me. Accessories allow you to change the vibe of an outfit in a flash."

As for jewellery, the blonde beauty's mantra is "more is more" as she loves to layer necklaces and bracelets, especially from the Thomas Sabo line, of which she works for as a brand ambassador. She has previously appeared in an international campaign for the German jeweller, which was shot by noted fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth.

"Jewellery's one of those things that's really great to buy for other people, partly because it's so much easier than trying to guess clothes sizes," she explained, adding that she loves wearing her Thomas Sabo Love Bridge bracelet. "They engrave them in the shop and I've got my nickname (G Whizz), my boyfriend's name (Josh McLellan), my date of birth - you name it!

When it comes to style and life inspiration Georgia mainly looks to two women in particular - actress Drew Barrymore and her mother, former model, Jerry Hall.

Speaking of meeting Drew, Georgia described the Hollywood star as "a babe" and as "cool as you'd expect". But she freely admits that it is Jerry, 59, who always gives her the best advice.

"My mum's always told me to be on time and always be nice to everybody - even if they're not nice to you," she smiled.
