Elle Macpherson 'having baby via surrogate'
Elle Macpherson is reportedly set to become a mother again.
The Australian supermodel, nicknamed The Body, is already mum to sons, Flynn, 17, and Aurelius, 12 with her ex-boyfriend Arpad Busson.
But now sources say the 50-year-old and her husband Jeffrey Soffer, who has son Logan, are ready to add to their brood, and have looked into surrogacy.
"They realised after a few months that having a baby naturally was a lost cause and they barely discussed adoption – they agreed on surrogacy quite quickly," a source told Australia's Woman’s Day.
"Elle is thanking her lucky stars she had the foresight to freeze her eggs years ago. She figured they’d come in handy."
The couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Fiji in July 2013. While IVF and adoption wasn't right for them, a family friend says surrogacy was a natural option.
And it's believed they've found their surrogate, and she is already pregnant.
“It’s something they’ve been thinking about ever since they got married.
“They have been getting advice from fertility doctors. She can’t believe she’s going to be a mum again," divulged an insider, reports British newspaper The Sun.
"They want to see how this goes, but they like the idea of having at least a couple of kids.”
Last year Elle told Channel Nine that her family is her "greatest achievement", but often finds it hard that they're spread out across the globe.
"I am living in London at the moment but moving to Miami [where Jeffrey is based]. A blended family requires patience and a lot of love," she said.
