Dree Hemingway: 'My daytime look is my nighttime look too!'
Dree Hemingway loves that the new Chloe Fleur de Parfum can be used for any occasion.
The 28-year-old model and actress was unveiled as the face of the new scent earlier this year (16), while also appearing in campaigns for Chloe's signature scent.
But when it comes to the new fragrance, it's the versatility of it that appeals so much to Dree.
Asked during an interview with Elle.com if Fleur de Parfum is more of a daytime fragrance, Dree replied: "Yeah, but I don't really have a switch-up. I'm the person who gets ready and my daytime look is usually my nighttime look. I just spritz it over my head so it kind of lands in my hair and put a little bit on my wrists and go."
The new fragrance contains rose pistil, with additional notes of verbena and cherry blossom. And Dree thinks it's the epitome of everything Chloe is about as a label.
"I think it's very free. It's timeless, it's young, it's fresh. I think it's the Chloe woman in a bottle," she smiled.
Dree has become one of the hottest faces in the modelling world since her 2009 debut, as well as making a name for herself as an actress. She is also something of a fashion icon thanks to her unique sense of style, and revealed her own sartorial inspirations during her chat with Elle.
"Katharine Hepburn and my aunt, Margaux," Dree answered when asked about her inspirations. "I grew up watching Katharine Hepburn movies and she was just my idea of what a strong woman was. There was an elegance and a grace about her, but she definitely had her own voice in what she wore and more of a masculine aspect and I really liked that.
"And my aunt Margaux is beautiful and family, and also embodied that '70s Studio 54 look that is so iconic."
