Daisy Lowe's love of L'Wren
Daisy Lowe feels best when she's in her favourite L’Wren Scott dress.
The British model has always been an admirer of L'Wren's and still gets upset about the designer's suicide last year.
Her wardrobe remains full of L'Wren's work, and Daisy has one dress she favours when she wants to feel her best.
"L’Wren Scott designed clothes for women like no one else. I’m so sad she’s no longer with us. I have a stripy pink dress of hers with cap sleeves and a round collar, and there’s no better feeling than putting it on," she revealed to London Evening Standard.
Following a career in the limelight was a natural choice for Daisy; her mother Pearl is a singer-songwriter and her father Gavin Rossdale fronts band Bush.
In fact it was the wardrobe choices her mum made for Daisy as a child that most influenced the model's style.
"My mum used to dress me up in white lace tea dresses with black tights and Doc Martens. I blame her for my obsession with combat boots," she laughed.
As well as walking the runway, Daisy, 26, also takes in fashion shows whenever possible. She sat front row at Giles' Spring/ Summer 15 presentation in London last month, and also caught Christopher Kane's.
While she counts plenty of stylish ladies as close friends, there is only one she shares clothes with.
"Florence [Welch] is the only person with whom I swap clothes. She’s got a gold ring of mine with black diamonds on one side and a tiger’s eye on the other, which I really want back!" she smiled.
