Charli XCX teams up with House of Holland for eyewear advertising campaign

Charli XCX stars in the new House of Holland ad campaign.

The 'Boom Clap' hitmaker has announced she is the latest face of the brand, run by her designer friend Henry Holland, on her Twitter account and features in the company's new eyewear adverts.

Charli posted a 70s-inspired shot of her modelling an over-sized pair of yellow tinted aviators paired with a patchwork suede jacket and styled with signature red lipstick and wavy hair for the label.

She captioned the snap: "Oh hi @henryholland (sic)"

Henry took to his Instagram account to announce Charli as the star of House of Holland's eyewear collection.

Along with the same image Charli shared, Henry posted: "Our new eyewear campaign featuring @charli_xcx shop the whole collection now! #houseofholland #HOHeyewear #charlixcx (sic)"

The hook-up is the 23-year-old pop star's latest foray into fashion.

Last year, Charli released a capsule collection with Boohoo.com which was inspired by her love of 90s style.

Previously speaking to BANG Showbiz about the range, she said: "It was really exciting because I'd never done anything like that before, I felt like Karl Lagerfeld drawing and sketching out looks and checking out fabrics. It was really fun."

Charli also teamed up with Impulse to design two body spray cans for their fresh fragrances Rock & Love and Vanilla Kisses.
