Chanel Iman happy to strip

Chanel Iman had no problem taking her clothes off in her film debut.

The Victoria’s Secret model recently made the move to acting and will soon be seen in Dope. Her role as Lily sees her coming on to her on-screen love interest, but despite being a film novice, Chanel was confident showing her body on camera.

“I was very comfortable with being on set and everyone was very, very professional. Yes, I take off the jumpsuit, and I'm seducing Malcolm, but I felt that's who Lily is, you know? She doesn't care,” she explained to the American edition of Esquire. “I didn't think about it because she doesn't think about anything she does. And [I] just went for it, dove in and gave it my all. I knew what I was signing up for, and I knew that this was something that was going to be successful. I wanted to do it.”

As well as her burgeoning acting career, Chanel continues to model for some of the world’s biggest brands. It means she leads a jetsetting lifestyle, but the 24-year-old has a simple way to make herself feel at home wherever she is in the world.

“Candles. Just the scent... as long as I have my candles with me, I can get cosy wherever,” she smiled.

Chanel also managed to find time to appear in Beyoncé Knowles’ Yonce video. But the beauty had no idea what she was going to be part of when she got the call.

“Honestly, I didn't even know what it was. When we shot the video, it was one of those things where they called us and asked us just to be part of a special project for Beyoncé,” she recalled. “We didn't know what we were doing until the video actually dropped. They made us sign this secret confidentiality contract that we weren't even working that day. Very secret. We just knew we were just on set with Beyoncé having a good time. We didn't even care what it was for.”
