Catwalk queens takes over Cannes

Doutzen Kroes and Liya Kebede stunned at the opening ceremony of Cannes Film Festival yesterday.

The two models posed on the red carpet together, with 30-year-old Doutzen looking like an angel in a long, white dress. In contrast, Liya, 37, went for a futuristic metallic number that showed off her never-ending legs.

Both fashion stars kept their hair fairly low key, with Doutzen opting for a loose updo and Liya letting her shoulder-length cut fall naturally.

It seems white was the shade of the occasion, with Bar Refaeli also picking the colour for her Cannes appearance. The 29-year-old wore a Grecian gown, which draped across her bust and fell beautifully into a floor-length skirt.

Karlie Kloss made a big statement on the red carpet, deciding to go for a very daring dress. The 22-year-old's gown featured a short piece of white material covering her chest, with the rest made up of a shimmering silver fabric. There were cut-outs by her torso and a thigh-high split showed off some leg.

Doutzen, Liya and Karlie are currently working together for L'Oréal Paris, with John Legend also featuring. The star recently posted a teaser of the project, showing all four of the celebrities looking gorgeous in black and white.

"A little glimpse at our day today with @liyakebede @karliekloss and @johnlegend for @lorealparisofficial (sic)," Doutzen captioned the image on Instagram.
