Brad Goreski: Culottes rock!

Brad Goreski's top piece of style advice is to take the plunge and wear culottes.

The A-list stylist has been lauded for his work with celebs such as Jessica Alba and Demi Moore, and he's recently been working on Kate Spade's Autumn/Winter 15 collection.

When it comes to style hints and tips, Brad has no shortage of ideas.

"Dare to wear culottes. Culottes are like the naughty cousin of the crop-top," Brad smiled to InStyle Australia. "They look modern and they work well on all body types. You want the culottes to basically hit midway between your knee and your calf. Heels are always best but I also think that culottes look really cool with a sneaker.

"Break out once in a while. Add a little twist [to your look]. Kate Spade has great hats and beanies.”

As well as being appointed executive brand stylist at Kate Spade, Brad has also brought out a memoir called Born to be Brad.

He started work as co-host on E!'s Fashion Police in 2014, but following the departures of original panellists Kelly Osbourne and Joan River's successor Kathy Griffin, the show is on hiatus until September.

Brad's other tips include tucking hair into your jacket in winter and always wear polished make-up.

Finally he suggests adding a piece that will boost your outfit.

“What is your special accessory this season that really pulls your look together? Is it a handbag; is it a great shoe? It’s about finding those details that can update your look but aren’t going to break the bank and also don’t take a lot of time to find," he outlined.
