Alice + Olivia signs footwear deal with Camuto Group

Alice + Olivia has joined forces with Camuto Group to create a new footwear line.

The New York-based label, founded by Stacey Bendet, is known for its quirky and colourful designs, with the same aesthetic set to be reflected in the new shoes.

Slated for a February (18) release, prices will range from $295 (£225) to $795 (£600).

"I am thrilled to partner with Camuto Group, an experienced footwear partner, to help me to continue to grow the footwear category," Bendet said in a statement. "A+O is known for print, colour, and novelty, and I wanted to bring all of this to our footwear in a larger and more meaningful way."

She also said the partnership will help grow Alice + Olivia's footwear offerings.

Shoe lovers will be able to snap up dressy flats, sandals, colourful heels, signature wedges, and statement over-the-knee boots.

Alex Del Cielo, chief executive officer of footwear conglomerate Camuto Group, added that the company was excited to welcome Bendet on board.

"Camuto Group is thrilled to partner with Stacey Bendet to relaunch her footwear collection," he shared. "Alice + Olivia is renowned for its creativity and unique point of view. We share a passion for design and commitment to quality and look forward to developing her collection and growing her business."

A New York Fashion Week favourite, Alice + Olivia was founded in 2002 and counts Angelina Jolie, Katy Perry, and Megan Fox as celebrity fans.

Prior to inking a deal with Camuto Group, Schwartz & Benjamin held the Alice + Olivia footwear license.
