Alberta Ferretti taps Kate Moss for fall campaign

Kate Moss is the new face of Alberta Ferretti.

The British supermodel will star in the label’s fall campaigns, with snaps already released showing off the seasonal wear. Shot by Luigi & Iango, the black and white shots see Kate posing in a studio, with only a wooden bench and chair her only props.

Shot at London’s Big Sky studios, Joe McKenna acted as stylist on the collection of eight images.

Kate wears an array or clothes in the stills; from a stunning tweed coat with fur gracing the hem line, to a structured dress adorned with shell-like detailing.

Ferretti’s signature feminine designs can be seen in a lace slip dress and a silky floor length dress, with long sleeves. The ads will drop in July.

While Italian designer Ferretti is known for her namesake brand, she also has a Limited Edition line too. It was recently announced Ferretti would be bringing the lesser known label to the forefront of her fashion agenda by showing at Paris Couture Week in July.

“I thought it was time to give a real identity to Limited Edition,” she told Vogue.com. “When I started it in 2011, I only presented it once a year as a capsule created to meet the demand of my customers for both evening and cocktail attire.

“Each year, it’s had a greater impact on the business. In 2015, I started to present it seasonally, completing it with shoes and accessories. I think now is the time to do a fashion show.”

Ferretti’s demi-couture designs differ slightly from traditional couture, as each design will be available in small quantities rather than especially made.
