Agyness Deyn pines for modelling days

Agyness Deyn misses her days as a catwalk model.

The 32-year-old actress had an illustrious career on the runway and gracing the cover of Vogue, but quit at the peak of her popularity and admits she now looks back on her days in the fashion world with nostalgia.

Agyness - who officially announced her retirement from modelling in 2012 - said: "It's funny, because obviously back in the day you know everyone, you know all the girls. It sounds like I'm really old, but I always look back with a fondness for that age, your late teens to early 20s."

The blonde beauty admits she enjoys watching the new generation of "spunky" catwalk stars - such as Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid - break through on the scene.

She added to Wonderland magazine: "It was fun to watch the new generation and how alive and inspiring and spunky they all are. You forget that: when you get older, you just chill out a bit more.

"I love clothes and I love fashion. My aesthetic has definitely changed over the years because you experiment and grow as a person.

"I was craving a simplicity in clothes that were kind of anti-fashion in a way. Not in a rebellious way, but I want this for the type of person I am, a girl that loves fashion but doesn't aspire to be a fashionista."

Despite her incredible catwalk career, the 'Sunset Song' star never aspired to be a fashionista and prefers a "simple" style.

She explained to Wonderland Magazine: "I love clothes and I love fashion. My aesthetic has definitely changed over the years because you experiment and grow as a person.
